I wasn't able to fully comprehend and understand the meaning behind the story, but I did feel something eerie about it. It may mean that the person is already dead, and is still stuck in the subway. His soul must have been stuck in that place when he committed suicide. I guess he never truly moved on from his certain loved one.
This is such a weird post for me. I can say that it got me thinking. At first, I did not really understand it. But upon thinking deeper, I feel like I got the thought. I agree that this is a two sentence horror. Very creepy and mysterious. I wonder what made you think about this? Maybe you can share more since I feel like there is a story behind this.
Thank you for taking the time to comment! My thoughts behind this one involved a pair of star-crossed lovers, one of whom was rejected or otherwise fell into despair and jumped in front of the subway train only to find him/herself now trapped in the place they died, endlessly watching the crowds go by, invisible to everyone around them and still haunted by every face in the train windows who resembles the lover they lost. Maybe that lover does take the train, maybe they moved on, maybe they ride the train now with a new family, but the one who died remains forever haunted by their memory and unable to move on. Though, really, it's all up for interpretation and I just watch a lot of Japanese horror movies, so it can mean whatever you see in it! ;) I really do appreciate the comment!
